Is this your first time out of America? You should travel around more often. Its a big world out there, I know in the west, especially Canada there are so many stop signs and stop lights and nobody around. The light or sign makes you stop at anytime of the day or night and there could be nobody around. And wait for up to 30 seconds or more. Senseless. I spent a lot of time in India and am in China now but I think you should get out of Kansas more often as its a big world out there.

Yes. Please travel more to experience the inferior traffic law of third world countries.
It certainly is a big world. And a vast majority of it isn’t worth experiencing. Choose your destinations wisely. Travel for the sake of being able to say, “I’ve traveled,” is pretentious.
Believe me. Traveling is fun. But there is much truth to the adage “There’s no place like home.” I always look forward to coming home when I’m abroad.

Compare the rates of death and injury per mile driven; I think you will see that all of those useless stop and yield signs actually do have a purpose.
